Many thanks for allowing us to hire your motor home for the British Grand Prix weekend. We have to say that being able to stay within walking distance of Silverstone circuit made our weekend so much better, giving us a lot more flexibility and we didn’t even have to get up at stupid o’clock to see all of the action!! By being on a campsite enabled us to meet other people with similar interests; the funny thing being that quite a few were renting motor homes too. The vehicle itself definitely served its purpose and provided us with all we needed. Being able to cook for ourselves saved us an absolute fortune, when you consider that a portion of fish & chips in the circuit cost £14!! Over the weekend we have gleaned a number of tips for when we hire another motor home, such as: a large water container for when the fresh tank is empty, maybe a grey water container too (our site didn’t have a drive over grey water facility). There were some things on the vehicle that we couldn’t get to work, although it’s probably down to operator error in some instances. None of these issues detracted in any way from our overall experience of motor homing at the British Grand Prix, and as already stated the motor home suited our needs really well. Our experience hiring from Carl and Lisa was excellent, right from initially placing the booking, to pick up and drop off, Carl and Lisa were extremely helpful and friendly and communication was spot on. The motorhome was in lovely condition and we were shown how to use everything and given contact details if we needed any help while we were away. This motorhome is perfect for someone who is new to motorhoming or just likes the shorter length which makes it easy to take to car parks, supermarkets etc. Even with the length you still get 2 separate areas which is what appealled to us. Easy to drive too. All in all we would not hesitate to recommend both this motorhome and Carl and Lisa to anyone looking to hire.
